Dominic Schuhmacher

Dominic has a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Zurich and has habilitated from the University of Bern. From 2013-2025 he has been a full professor at the University of Göttingen, before returning to his home country and opening his own consulting business. Ever since 2004, he has been advising students, scientists and government bodies on aspects of statistics. In the course of this, he has completed more than 50 data analyses, including for research institutes, government offices and hospitals. He has been teaching university courses on probability, statistics and R for more than 20 years. He is the author of several R packages and a contributor to the widely used spatstat package for spatial statistics.
